It's Fall

I created a painting that I have been trying to create for some time.  The light is in the background.  This is somewhat a modern painting in that it moves from the traditional blue background.  Instead the background is filled with brightly colored fall trees: vibrant red and yellows.  I was delighted with my earlier painting, The Green Yard , because yellow light was in the background and grey was in the foreground.  I continued painting and looked down and found that the background was lighter and with a few changes created a similar but more advanced painting to my earlier work.  Color theory fascinates me.  In this picture, the viewer may stand right next to the red shed door.   It's Fall measures 12 x 16.

Process of a Painting

I hoped you would like to see my process for completing a painting. First Step This is a photo of the work with all my paint bushes out. Middle Step Final Step, the color was skewed in the first photos so I am being consistent.
