Morning Song

Morning Song is $85 + shipping and handling.  It measures 11" x 14."  Morning Song is the finished work of an earlier painting.  If any of you are curious Morning song was The Tomato Patch, but I changed the subject to be about the early morning hours when birds are singing and flying about.  If paint could express song this painting would sing.

Morning Song depicts the sun is rising on the horizon, a blue jay lands on the feeder.  A male and female gold finch rest on the fence alongside two cardinals.  The birds are impressionistic and very small.  It depicts the very early morning full of song and beauty.  A part of everyday life to enjoy.

I found a quote about making quality artwork. In this case, Adrian Hill is talking about trees. He writes, “a tree is painted to…express his [the artist] appreciation for it,” He wrote a book, On Drawing and Painting Trees.
